Congress MLC Amer Ali Khan attended a detailed presentation on the Polavaram–Bankacherla Link Project, held yesterday to discuss its implications and benefits for minority communities across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.

The event also saw participation from key minority leaders including Syed Azmatullah Hussaini (Chairman, Telangana Waqf Board), Obaid Ullah Kothwal, Afsar Yousuf Zai (Vice President), and Abdul Rasheed from Khammam. Discussions focused on equitable development, water access, and the potential socio-economic upliftment of underrepresented regions through this critical inter-state water project.

The leaders emphasized the importance of inclusive planning and called for transparency, representation, and public accountability in the execution phases.
