Hyderabad, August 15, 2025 — Chairman of the Telangana Legislative Council, Sri Gutha Sukender Reddy, hoisted the national flag at the Council premises on Friday to mark the nation’s 79th Independence Day.

He was joined by MLC Amer Ali Khan, fellow Members of the Legislative Council, and Members of the Legislative Assembly in the celebration. The event included the singing of the national anthem and a tribute to the freedom fighters who laid the foundation for India’s independence.
